- need a PvP Spec
need a PvP SpecFollow
I know the gut reaction of every regular in here is going to be to say "read the sticky!" However, all the specs in there are either for DPS/utility or for solo, not for PvP. I'm looking for a good PvP spec, or maybe even one for each tree (i.e. one marks, one survival, one beastmaster).
You need to be even more specific, are you looking for general BG PVP, or Arena PVP, because those are two entirely different aspects. Click on the link in my sig for the SV builds I have for general PVP as well as Arena type settings. Not much of a difference, only slight changes. However this is more geared toward the SV hunter.
As I have said before, I've only been able to specc for PvE since my guild is pure PvE and all my PvP explorations have been with PvE builds. But I have a theory about one MM PvP build. Namely this one. It's got a filler in Marksman (Combat Experience) and unfinished talents in Surv, but it is pretty much completely homemade.

I like those...but I'm wondering (especially with the recent buffs to it) how well imp arcane shot would be? Especially in comparison to efficiency, since I usually go OOH faster than I go OOM.
Go with Marksman until you can get Scatter Shot, make sure you get rapid killing, and get Wyvren Sting as well. I got the spec I am using from North. It works really well for massive crits and dealing more raw damage.

You pick up scatter, wyvern sting, and all the health benefits of BM and SV. Perhaps it's a bit too much of a hybrid, but it branches off of North's build and focuses a bit more on the SV aspect and less on the MM.
Now that wyvern is an instant, I think it's become more viable for arena to take someone out of the fight for long enough to put some hurtin' bombs on their healer (or whoever). The downside is that, since silencing shot is on a 30s cooldown, you can use it frequently on their casters... but I'm thinking most arena or BG encounters won't last more than 30 seconds anyway if you're playing your cards right. =)

Yeah I like that one Zulfrieze. I think it's what I've been looking for. It's either that or a deep marks spec I think, but I can't seem to nail one I like.
This is the best MM spec I can come up with.
EDIT: Wont be playing much until I can figure out my mouse issue (for some reason mouse4 stopped working in game) so I have a while to figure out a good spec lol.

It's not just keybindings, its macros as well. Here's 3 tests I've done:
1. Checked to make sure autorun is still bound to mouse4.
2. Checked using mouse4 on space-saver macros that use mouse1-4/5.
3. Tried rebinding mouse4 to another action
4. Tried using mouse4 on firefox (mouse 4 and 5 are my forward/back keys and it works there).
But my computer updated last night and all of a sudden it works again. Maybe I just needed a reboot lol.
