Attack Power of our demons by +fire damage?Follow

#1 Nov 17 2007 at 2:28 PM Rating: Decent

I don't know about anyone else. But I was checking my stats the other day and noticed when checking my bonus spell damage that the demons attack power or spell power is increased by "z" and "y" by the amount of +fire damage...

Am I understanding this correctly? I am a demo lock.Since we want as much +stam or shadow damage, spell damage etc.It doesn't make sense to have + fire damage on our gear especially if your demo spec. Now being a destruction lock,,I don't really see the point either for the exception of a gatling imp which is just a small burst of dps anyways. Should I make a GM ticket on this one? : ).

I believe it is whatever spell class you have more damage will show up as increasing your pets Attack power. I have a little over 200 more shadow damage than fire and on mine it says my shadow damage increases my pets abilities. It may revert to fire if both your shadow/fire damage are the same, but whatever the case it will always benifit from whatever class you have more damage in.
