How well geared do I have to be to heal the first few heroics, like slave pens and ramparts?

I currently have 6849 HP, 9742 mana, and 906 +healing.

I found heroics extremely difficult until I had almost 1200 healing and at least 90 mp/5. Depending on your group makeup/tank, you can probably get away with doing them at your current stats, but expect some speed bumps.

Eh, I'd try anyways, Back when I first started heroics, not very many people at all were even 70 yet, none of us had done Kara or the like yet and we hadn't experienced anything like that before.

Nowadays, you'd be lucky to find 5 people in the same situation. Go ahead and go for it, worst off you'll have a bad repair bill.
