So in SMV today I saw this rare elite mob walking around. I was sitting in stealth watching it, when a horde rogue decides to try and solo it. Needless to say he gets wickedly pwned, but vanishes. Then for no apparent reason, he drops stealth and mounts up, hovering around the big guy. I've already called my friends out here, and I assume he's doing the same thing. He has around 5% hp and I suddenly get a stroke of genius. I position myself directly under him and figure I'll try to "lol step" up by him. I figured it wouldn't work, or I'd get some random error message. Much to my surprise, I appeared behind him and began falling. I quickly garroted the 5% HP rogue who for some reason tried to fly away and died mid air. This gave me great joy.
Add that on to the several times I've used lolstep to save my life (such as in arena when a priest was casting a greater heal on his hurting team mate and I just stepped over and kicked/blinded the priest) and the fact that lolstep seems to have a 3D range as opposed to a 2D one and I honestly love this ability.
I know I've come on here singing its praises several times, but it just never gets old. Shadowstep in combat is so freaking useful and original, it gives rogues a new fighting style altogether. I've never been so happy with my rogue.
