Sounds cool. We all have done it.

If you are starting tonight, and starting at 39, I have no doubt in my mind you can hit 50 by Monday morning. That is assuming you literally binge, and play 20hrs a day.

new exp
new exp to level numbers

id be ashamed if you were serious and didnt hit 55 at least, in all honesty

old numbers 40 to 60 was what? 3-4 days if you were hella hardcore?

new exp and ****, jinthalor being soloable, all those changes should make to 50 easy to say the least, go for bigger brighter things

First report: I dinged 44 last night. Played about 18 hours yesterday. I CAN do something useful with this thread by posting news. Dustwallow ROCKS now. You can stack kill quests like crazy, and with the XP boost, its about 4k per quest turn in (~75k per lvl in here). I sped through 40-41 in there in about 6 hours. Things slowed down after that. I made the mistake of running Uld last night, decided I probably wont run another one on my leveling run.
The only funny story I have so far is that when I was lvl 40, a lvl 42 nelf warrior jumped me. I quickly realized he was a keyboard turner. I could keep myself postioned behind his back without bother to stun. Later I was doing a nooblestick pull -> pull 3 mobs, pop BF, AR, evasion, SnD, and watch them explode -> when the warrior jumped me again. He got me this time but the mobs got him. <sigh>
I cant remember why I thought this was going to be fun. Maybe another 18 hour day will clear my head.

Liquor makes everything better. I wouldn't have dinged 75 in FF XI if I hadn't gotten wasted for many a grinding session. You lose track of time and don't get bored. Just make sure there's nothing good on TV first, lest you be distracted.

If gold isn't a worry for you I would suggest re-specking to pick up Riposte. Its really useful if you are grinding levels since you spend so much time in front of mobs as combat spec. Like this perhaps...

It really shines when you start taking 3 mobs at once as well, the +5% parry will reduce the amount of damage you take and if you try to focus on grinding against humanoids the disarm part of Riposte will also reduce the amount of damage you are taking. Parrying any attack will allow you to riposte, unlike Overpower the move isn't specific to the person who procced it. If that warrior who jumped you when you were fighting two other mobs had only been able to overpower you the fight might have turned out differently.

It is also excellent for dealing with other classes that rely on Melee. Disarm a hunter and he can't wing clip you for example. Shamans get much stronger in the 40+ lvl bracket, take away an Ench. shaman's weapon and you have much less to worry about.

This is just my personal experience but it really is worth taking, even more so at lower levels where having no weapon is far more problematic because classes haven't gained all their abilities yet and have far less ways of saving themselves than they do at lvl 70.

K im done. Dinged 49. Only took ALL DAY. Ran Mara, got the pretty blue sword that procs an extra attack (does that stack with sword expertise?). No more wow this weekend.
Im going to have a hard time not respeccing at 50 to something more fun.

BG'ed a little. I found an impressively significant increase in players skill level from 39 to 49. I couldnt just strafe around spamming SS. Boo!

Grats. That's a pretty good feat there.

When my friends decided to make some alts on a PvP server, we had a guild. In the guild information, we listed the names and guilds of gankers that really went above and beyond the call of ganking. When they all abandoned me and went back to their carebear servers, i solely took it upon myself to exact vengeance on them in the form of a sexy fem nelf s-priest. It was oh so glorious.
