Btw, I answered the DPS question on my first post. 600-700 and you'll be decent enough for kara. As has been mentioned more recently, it's going to be situational on the fights, but those are good numbers to shoot for to start.

I hit over 3500 AP and 38% crit in a raid last night vs. Illidan with all my procs active - it was hella sweet (too bad it only lasted about 2 seconds). Typical was 35% crit with ~3000 AP and WF active.

Tonight's setup is almost as optimal - lose a war for AP boost but gain a hunter. Should be fun to see how it goes.

Hey, you with the aesthetic deficiencies, take your 124 posts and go play in the Sandbox or something. And don't interrupt while the big kids are talking, 'kay?

Here, look at the shiny! Oooooh, bright and shiny! Now go play with it in traffic!

I just love how no mater what I say, I get the worst comebacks. You guys are smart, at least burn me better than that. So what if I only have 124 posts? What everyone's opinion who has under 10,000 posts is completely invalid and can never be correct?

I read through this whole great epic hoping for a bedtime story, but now I can't sleep, because the third act doesn't make sense. Does Theophany die in the end? Did BubbaEl ever find love? How does Doctor Phil feel about using recreational forums to vent your spleen into the eyes of strangers? Does spleen juice cause cancer? What about second-hand spleen juice? And what the hell is this in my warm milk??!!

BubbaEl, don't let the flamers get you down. My biggest piece of advice for you as a WoW player is to use the Blizzard forums, WoWWiki, World of Raids, anything but Alla for advice. I was a long time EQ player so when I began to play WoW I naturally used Alla for info. Bad choice. Over time it became obvious that the people posting on Alla were NOT the high end players in the game. It's always funny to me to see some of the more famous ones posting about their PvP exploits or dungeon experience. If you look at their armory, or raid progression you will see they are far from leading the progression at anything.

They are great at acting important though, I'll give them high marks for that. I enjoyued my many verbal battles with them a few years ago, even causing one high level poster to admit he was in therapy and using ant-depressants. So your observation that someone who has 10k+ posts probably has no meaningful real life, and little time to actually play the game, is probably true to some extent.

As for your DPS, and how to fix it. THe main thing to remember about any build, for any class is synergy. You need to pick your talents so they work together, not haphazardly. This will show a huge increase in DPS, healing, or whatever. Check the guides on Alla, WoWWiki, Blizz forums and try them out to find one you like.

Do yourself a favour, don't rely on the Alla class forums for anything other than amusement. If you do find usefull info here, it was probably mistakenly posted.

Puuuleeease.

Don't even begin to think that we care about what the scrubs on the WoW Forums think. They are the biggest group of 12 year old idiots in existence.

#122 Nov 27 2007 at 3:42 PM Rating: Decent
Even idiots can help you - I learned quite a lot searching the web to prove some of believes very popular here to be false. And I found out that in some respects I was ignorant as well. In the end I went from average rogue to #1 (in the small circle I am playing with)
There are some people who can be trusted, some who are better ignored. Some good information in the stickies. I am still hanging around, heh.

I'm not sure how this statement affects me, theologically. Sure, it could explain where many cultures derive their concept of Heaven from...on the other hand, if true, it would seem to make a lot of extra work for the Chief Recreational Officer in Hell. You can only do so much with fire.

Just kidding.

Hey, my post count seems to be increasing exponentially...now I understand how people can get those big numbers.
