11/28/22: Raid ResultsFollow

My guild did Al'ar and VR on patch day (were doing Solarian but we had new people that blew us up a couple times, and he bugged out). The results are in on 19/42/0 vs 11/28/22. My gear between the two raids I'll be comparing is pretty much identical.

Al'ar
19/42/0: 600 DPS.
11/28/22: 788 DPS.

No differences in playstyle from one kill to the other. Killing adds in P1, killing Al'ar in P2. Didn't die on either fight.

Void Reaver
19/42/0: 733 DPS.
11/28/22: 734 DPS.

I did not have might for the Hemo kill. Our paladins tend to be lazy about buffing. So even with inferior stats, Hemo outperformed Combat Swords on the worst possible fight (bleed immune).

High Astromancer Solarian
19/42/0: 795 DPS.
11/28/22: 1194 DPS attempt 1, 1383 DPS attempt 2.

Completely and utterly owned. We got Solarian to about 50% both attempts. It's safe to say that my DPS would not drop a whole lot over the course of the whole fight, since Hemo is not cooldown reliant like Combat Swords is. I got Bloodlust on attempt 2, but not on attempt 1 (our shammy was new and didn't know to blow cooldowns early). Because of this, you can use attempt 1 as a lower bound, and attempt 2 as an upper bound. I also didn't get the Dirty Deeds buff at all on this fight. I did not DPS the adds in any way, either. I just wait for priests to spawn, and then lock them down.

So, the conclusion? It might be a bit early to call this, but on favorable fights like Solarian and Winterchill, Hemo is the sh*t. The vastly superior damage:energy ratio, combined with the very steady DPS make for a rock solid raid build. Tired of the cookie cutter 19/42/0? Pick up Hemo, you'll be glad you did.

As far as the debuff, with a caster heavy group, it was used up in about a second and a half. A raid could easily support 3 Hemo Rogues.

Could you link the spec you were using for 11/28/22? Wowhead has since updated its talent calculator for 2.3 patch changes.

Cheers.

I was about to ask myself. I can't decide if I'd rather have 2 points in Imp Evis or 2 in Murder.

I know this will pobably get answered when the spec is posted but would swords or daggers be better for that build?

From what i can see daggers would benefit more from the Sub talents, but swords would probably get more damage from hemo.

Is this correct?

Murder for raiding.

Evis if you PVP.

Hemo is Swords/Maces/Fists for best results.

I remember you and RP mathcrafting it out last week, but I fail to remember which of 1/2 WE - 2/2 Dirty Deeds or 2/2 WE - 1/2 Dirty Deeds was better.

Wasn't being lazy, was being retarded...

Thanks for pointing that out though. I'm trying to do a statistical geography assignment so my brain isn't exactly in the right gear.

How hard is it?

Statistically, geography is for losers.

Hard at 12am, 13hrs before your deadline.

Statistically I could prove you wrong, but only if I had payed attention in my lectures. And even then I would actually just be proving you right by attempting to mathamatically prove you are wrong. Call it a "Catch 22" if you will...

Oh well, I'll be laughing in the future. Global warming = more job opportunites for me. But I digress... erm, yeah, rogues & stuff...

Maybe if you found Jesus, global warming wouldn't have to be such a ***** for us all... and you could go home early.

I seriously, seriously doubt that you'd be able to find data that supports the statistical significance of global warming. Your entire "job market" is the product of buzz words and superficial political mumbo-jumbo.

I look forward to snickering at you as I pass by your cardboard domicile on the street some day.

I am considering trying the build but if this is for PvE, why the 5 points in MoD? Wouldnt you benefit more from the 5 points in opportunity on the garrote openers?

Dude, don't even get me started.

To put things simply:

Global warming *IS* happening.
Wether or not it is due to man is a different question alltogether.

The world has been ossiclating between glacial / non-glacial periods since it formed. It gets warmer / colder in statistically proven cycles. What makes you think it will stop now?

I really haven't done much research into it, but seeing just a few graphs over periods of time it is alarming. The huge spike in global warmth starting in the late 1800's to the early 1900's until now is humbling Smiley: frown.

what's your rotation? i understand hemo would be your cp builder in place of ss or muti. what's the finisher? ev?

how quickly do you build points? can you lock an npc down with this? i don't pvp really at all so only interested in pve.

intriguing build. the high numbers definitely make it interesting. i'd need to find some new weps though.

thanks
