So last night I dinged 70 for the first time ever with my hunter. Great feeling, very relieved, but a little unsettling at the same time. Ever since I started playing the game the goal has been to get to 70. Now that I'm there I'm not sure where to go next.
I don't plan on doing much arena, my goal is to become my guild's SV hunter for raids and such so I have been working on getting the necessary Agil to make the switch from BM. I'm at a little over 400 with some sub par gear with sub par gems (+4 Agil FTW!!). I don't see the point in spending money on gems for the gear I have now.
I HAVE looked over the preraid gear, tips, and tricks thread so I have an idea about the gear I want and where to get it. I have aligned myself with Aldor as they seem to be the better option for hunters.
I guess what I'm really wondering after all this needless rambling on, is where should I start the rep grind. What instances are good to try and run first and who should I be trying to get to honored (by the way, only needing Honored kicks so much ***!) with so I can get heroic keys. And what is the best thing I can do to start getting myself keyed for Kara.

Well, the three places I enjoyed running alot was Steam Vaults, Shadow Labyrinth and Mechanaar. Steam Vaults and Shadowlabs will yield you a few nice pieces of loot (Sonic Spear, Beastlord) and valuable rep for Heroics. Not to mention Mechanaar for both Stellaris and Heroic rep so you can get access to the fastest Heroic Badges farm place in the game. I can run those three blindfolded these days.

Now as I said before, this is my first time at 70 so some things I still don't understand. What are "Heroic Badges" and what do you use them for? If they are used for getting keyed for Kara, could you explain what the whole process entails?
No, Heroic Badges drop from all instance bosses in Heroic instances. They are turned in at Shattrah Center to buy items of various kinds. Bloodlust Brooch is one of them unless my memory went all to hell.
The Karazhan Questline starts outside Karazhan itself. There are tons of guides that tell you how to do that quest. Personally, I just got the quest and followed the instructions.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. I'll have to look into what those can be turned in for and have to look up a guide for the Kara questline. Thanks a bunch North.
You can also try doing Shattered Halls a bit, even though it is a long instance it pays off. A good belt drops from the last boss, the gloves of desolation drop from the last boss, and a nice cloak drops from the first boos. Not to mention that you get tons of Thrallmar rep. Which you can use to get the Marksman's Bow from them. That is what I am trying to get right now, although I might not.
