I am a happy mageFollow

Must say, I love the 2.3 changes. Last night we ran kara and my dps was up. The most noticeable change was the strength of my crits. Normally my crits hit in the 3.0-3.5k range. It was a rare but nice occurrence when my crit would get above 4k. Last night, 4k+ was the norm and often I critted in the 4.5-4.9k range. I don't know much about the math with the damage tax removal, but if this is the result, I am very happy.

And the ritual of refreshement made me a rock star for 10 minutes with my guildies! (I'm sure they will get over that soon, but it was nice). I was very pleased with the number of manna biscuits each person could get. I was initially worried that we would have to make several picnic tables each run to keep people happy, but apparently you can loot up to 50 or so stacks of 20. Very nice.

Finally, I didn't realize that wizard's oil was now on a 60 minute timer rather than 30.

Oh, I forgot to do some Dr. Boom testing, I may have to give that a shot soon. My crits were above 4k, some around 5k with scorch stacked and just the lesser spelldmg up.

Everyone was so confused with the ritual, worse still when they got the biscults. Some were thinking its food only =( not reading item descriptions FTL.

DPS wise at Gruul's fight 2 mage topped the meters with with another mage in the top half while I bottomed out at 7th. I did spend a lot of time pottering around to stay alive while my brethen went balls to the wall with it.
