Retribution build questions, suggestions neededFollow

#1 Nov 13 2007 at 1:20 PM Rating: Good
ok straight to da point, since the new talents changed the ret tree a lot, i am wondering if u should change my original build or not, here's my build at the moment in ret tree:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sZZEf0t0cuiIot

or the complete build including some in presition and ......:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sxZxhZEf0t0zuiIot

and i am wondering if i should get Persuit of Justice or Vindication

(which brings up a side question of the exact effect of Vindicaion, does it work on players? reduced stam? does it work on bosses or are they immune? and if it does, how much would it actually effect the bosses' health?)

if included Vindication and PoJ i would use this:

plz give usefull suggestions in a serious manner, thanks to u all

No, Vindication has zero effect on mobs.

Now I was a ret pally straight up to 70. So from my play I really liked having a couple of points in deflection and a couple in imp. ret aura as well as divine purpose. The imp ret aura was nice when just running around doing mild farming, and the divine purpose is just nice because it helps with damage taken.

Why would you want Improved Ret Aura if you can have Sanctity Aura?

I laughed at the part you quoted cause it starts off saying "buff on the bosses", then gets countered with "doesn't work on mobs", hehe. And yes it does affect mobs (as far as I know it still does, would be stupid if it only worked in PvP - wait, Ret PvEs? nm), but does nothing against bosses. Can you imagine how OP it would be to take away a huge chunk of a raid boss' health simply having a Paladin smack him around a bit?

lol...didn't notice

@ overpoweredness
i agree in its current state i don't think it would happen.
they could make it half strength instead...so 7.5% instead of 15%...maybe?

Sorry, meant boss mobs. It may do something to normal mobs but I know it does jack to raid bosses, and thus isn't very good except in PvP.
