I don't know which S1 weapon I should choose!! I know you get the 5% chance to get the extra attack with the sword, but with the fist weapons its more damage and crit. What would you choose?
For what?
PVP, PVE?
And even then, it's a preference. The gap between the two is so marginal in both aspects it is basically coming down to what you want your character to look like.

A good reason to use fists, imo! Otherwise, it depends on what you want to use it for, as Myteddy stated. Personally, I think fists just looks cooler.
