Crit % in frost and fire :: Free Realms

I'm 70 but i played allmost all my mage career as frost. I read some post on crit rating i should have as frost and as fire. I read that 15-20% for frost is enough and i need to be around 30% and over as fire why one need more crit rating in fire is for the ignite?

Well, you get 9% crit from must-have type talents in the fire tree, thus the discrepancy between frost and fire critical ratings. IMO if you are talking instances like Kara, SSC, TK, Mag, Gruul, etc, you should be stacking +hit before +crit. Also, as fire, crits give back mana, so mana efficiency is another reason for the need of high +crit.

Crit as fire = Crazy damage, more mana efficiency, ignites that keep going, more damage, etc.

Crit as frost = more damage.
