with them putting in waepon mastery in the fury tree 2% dodge decrease sounds like an improvement in dps for raids but I still personally feel that impale would end up doing more damage...

can anyone confirm or deny this? any calculations done on it at all?

Does it really matter? I plan on getting both of them and shouldnt have to really give anything up for it too.

Both.

I'm probably going to drop a single point from Imp. Execute and one from Precision, but I'm not quite sure yet. I may end up dumping both points out of Imp. Execute.

If nothing else, two points into WM are better than two points in Precision.

well the only thing to drop to pick up WM would be imp execute which i also feel would end up doing more damage than the 2% dodge, especially them rexecutes

zip posted right as i did - what's your hit rating at? I currently run with 167 and since orcs are getting their axe weapon mastery skill back [+5 cheers] think i'll be better off dumping the 2 from precision?

Well, Orcs got 5 Expertise, not Weapon Skill.

Imp. Execute doesn't really help during Reck. It helps when you don't normally get the rage to Execute every GCD. I'm not really sure which way I want to go on this, but I find Precision to be of much more marginal use than the way I see some people value it. After all, it's only 15.8 rating... hm.

hrm, i meant expertise

so which way do you think I should go? with WM i'd lose the 2 to hit but effectively get it back from the -2% dodge no?

so i'd have 10.6 hit from gear [which can be brought up to ~12% by swapping in a few pieces, but that would effect my ap/crit] and 3.25 -dodge if I were to get WM and kept axes.

alternatively I can keep 10.6 from gear and then get an extra 2 to hit from talents and still get 1.25 -dodge if I am keeping axes...

WM is strictly better than Precision, as it gives you the same reduction in chance for the attack to not-land (Miss + Dodge) but effects special attacks too. The real question is Imp. Execute vs. Precision. WM is pretty much an autobuy.

As for Execute vs. Precision, I'm still somewhat torn. The important of Imp. Execute picked up slightly as you'll no longer have Death Wish 'guaranteeing' that each hit will give you enough Rage to Execute on that GCD, but the importance will likely vary wildly from boss to boss and encounter to encounter. I'm probably going to drop both points out of Imp. Execute and see how it performs.

While you're discussing the topic of Imp Execute, what are your thoughts on Imp Execute vs WM for a 31/30 2h DPS build?

In the past, Imp Execute was a no brainer over Imp Intercept, but now I don't really know what to choose. My gear isn't that great, and I'm only going to be running 10 mans if that makes any difference.

WM > All, pretty much. It's as good as Cruelty is, or better.

I'd definitely snag it over Imp. Execute in a 2H DPS build.

Also remember to have a set of daggers, or any two fast weapons to swap to during execute range. Waiting for rage from a big slow two hander will gimp your dps during that part of the fight dramatically.

That's really smart.. I never thought about that.
