Starting lock gear at 70 & TalentsFollow

Woohoo, first post.

I'm REALLY bad at picking gear for myself, I usually end up bugging my boyfriend for help, and he's a mage and I'm sure his ideas of good gear are different than what I need.
I actually just read the warlock FAQ and it helped me understand the sta, int thing. So two questions, when picking gear, I usually pick the thing with the most stamina, but when getting a quest reward when I have stuff from the AH on, how do I compare gear with great stam, vs lower stam, but crit improved, spell dmg improved?

Also, I just hit 70 with my lock a few days ago, and of course I want good gear for dungeons and raids. Where do I start? Should I buy/make the Imbued Netherweave set? Or pvp? Or get the Imbued Netherweave set to start off and pvp in it to get the pvp gear.

Anddd one last thing, sorry for the lengthy post. I started out as a destro lock till 60 since I pretty much blindly picked a spec without understanding talent stuff, and I switched to Demon, but I feel like I depend on my demon too much and I'm kind of slow and weak without the felguard.
But he tanks when I run guildies alts thru things. I want to go back to destro, but everything I've heard and read seems to be against destro for dungeons and pve.

Thanksss so much for any help!

IMO you want spell damage, spell hit, stamina, spell crit, intellect roughly in that order. Work on a balance of stats, but go pretty heavy on spell damage. Spell hits not so important unless you plan on raiding. But its not level 30 anymore, spell damage is important =)

Grats on 70 btw

Though the topic was not necessarily in the warlock section, check out my posting on the main WoW forum titled "HUGE WoW Rant". I got schooled .. quickly. Maybe not so nicely but I did learn alot about my character and how to properly gear her for raids. Hope this helps.

Actually his ideas of good gear as a mage are pretty close to yours as a lock too, specially if you want to go destro again.

Sorry, haven't used forums in awhile so I forget how to do the quotes thing.
But I did read the rant on the main WoW forum, and it did help a lot =] lots of good information there.

and yea, I really am thinking about going destro again, I miss my shadowfury lol. I did spec enough into it to get my shadowburn back and still have the felguard.
