Healing questionFollow

Ok long story short. i made a shadow priest. This question is for a healing priest.

I of course have read the faq and kinda got an answer. but i would like a few different opinions on this.

In a 5 man and karazan type healing environment.. would somthing like spirit tap come in handy for a healing priest? to me it looks like it could be an awsome 5 points spend for a healer.. i know shadow priests use it. but do holy priests use it?

What he said. It's nice while soloing, and if you never pvp it's better than Blackout for a shadow priest but if you are going to respec and heal then you don't have the points to get Spirit Tap really.

I just got my Holy Priest to 70 this past weekend (woo hoo!) and I've had 5/5 Spririt tap since level 14. It was great while leveling, but now I think it's time to spec out of it.

As the others have said, it only procs when you get the killing blow. In raids and instances, you're going to be far too busy to worry about timing a killing blow. Also, even if you DO get the killing blow and it procs, your're probably going to be right back into the five second rule, so you're only getting the regen while casting benefit.

At level 70, I would definitely say it's no longer worth it, but it was invaluable on the way to level 70.
