Curious what druids are enchanting their Terestian's Stranglestaff with and why? Obvious choices would be savagery (+70 AP) and Agility (+35 Agility)

I think 35 Agi is generally accepted as the best Druid enchant, and I would tend to agree. Some maths was done, however, and I think Savagery gave a bit more DPS if put on a pure DPS weapon.

I don't remember how big the difference was, and I'm too tired to figure out how this will be affected by 2.3, but I think 35 Agi is a safe bet.

Most Druids I know put it on both DPS and tanking weapons. Seems to serve them well so far.

Currently 1 Str = 2.4 AP. It is generally accepted that Agi is as good if not better than Str. So if Agi=Str then 1 Agi = 2.4 AP

Therefore 35 Agi whould be worth about 84 AP = 35 AGI is the best enchant :)

rares stat conversion isnt exactly spot on, but the premise remains the same. you get more raw AP from savagery (which is helped by heart of the wild now) but you get more than "just" AP from agi. namely, you get some armor, more dodge (always nice), more crit, and half the raw AP as savagery. since HotW affects AP instead of str now, 35 agi becomes 35+3.5 AP in addition to the benefits of crit, armor, and higher dodge. savagery is just a flat 77 AP after talents.

only worth it for a pure dps weapon, and then only if the added crit and dodge from the agi isnt needed (and dodge is always nice in raid settings where aoe of various types may be flying about).

Um 35 agil is best. no ifs ands or buts.

Anything that adds 3 effects, and still has near the same AP (remember your putting it on somthing that already has ALOT of feral AP, why put more ap on it? when you can add Crit, Dodge, Armor, and AP....

The logic escapes me truly.
