I got into a really nice raiding guild about two months ago, and it is a completely different experience from what I have ever been in (we have 5/6 in SSC and 3/4 in TK down, compared to my other guild that just had Gruul). Now, there are two other regularly raiding rogues. One is a combat daggers build, and the other is combat swords, and they both have superior gear to me (daggers has best). In general, I have been always behind the combat daggers rogue and about toe-to-toe with combat swords.
I am currently 41/20/0, kind of a hybrid PvE/PvP spec (I was highest damage in my last guild, so I got away with it). (note- I have Imp Backstab because I was experimenting on poison immune fights like VR and Hydross. Consider those points to be in Fleet Footed and Improved Poisons come 2.3). Now, it's a bit more "serious." Should I switch to a combat daggers build to do more PvE damage? How much PvP viability will I lose? The buff to Fleet Footed in the Assassination tree is pretty significant. I've never played Combat before, as I always figured it to be boring.
Your thoughts/opinions are greatly appreciated.
