Rogue partnerFollow

#1 Nov 12 2007 at 12:54 PM Rating: Decent
Hi, My friend is just starting to play this game and i've decided to roll a new toon with them. They're interested in making a rogue and I was looking for opinions on the optimal partner for a rogue for general PvE, Thanks.

General PVE? Whatever you want to play, really. I've partnered with probably one of each class with great success, but as far as lack of downtime a healing class is always good to have. Pally and Rogue seem to go well together, from my personal experience. That's only at the lower levels however, someone with higher level experience might have a different view on it.

A hybrid would be best for optimal downtime and ease of taking down mobs.

Feral Druid and Shadow priest come to mind. Lots of DPS, and the option to heal for harder fights/downtime.

For grinding to 70, i'd say a hunter or rogue. For 70 PvE, roll a tank because that will get your 5mans going real fast.

Druid.

You can both stealth in and out of areas. Battlegrounds with a stealther friend is fun as hell. Plus it's nice to have a healing class with you when things go bad.

Thanks for the imput, I was leaning toward Druid to begin with and will probably take that route.

druid for sure

being able to stealth and skip a bunch of a trash is a BIG help grinding

and youd have a damn fine dps, and either a tank or a healer for instance runs.... thats like half your group almost haha
