Sorry if this has been answered already, I couldn't find anything on it...If you put points into entrapment, and lets say you use an explosive trap in a group of mobs, does it have a chance to snare multiple mobs or just 1?

Looks like Single Targets only.

Entrapment

... good question. Never actually tried it out. I can't say for sure, but I have the feeling multiple mobs could be trapped per tick. But this would be calculated separately per mob, no all or just one. Now that I think about it, I can't really imagine that there was a one mob limit on Entrapment.

Either way, Entrapment is not really worth it as it is just way too erratic to be counted on. If I want something stopped, I'd prefer a Freezing Trap or Scatter/Wyvern/Intimidate.

Edit:

Huh? Where did you read that? I read the same page, but couldn't see anything about the number of afflicted targets. The term they use "The Target" would refer to everyone affected by the trap.

Right when I got finished writing that I thought of another...Would Readiness reset Bloodfury? I know it says all hunter abilities, just wondering if it would reset the racial too. Sorry for the questions, thinking about going into survival and I would just like to know these simple details :)

hmmm, It says hunter abilities, so I'd assume not. You ask good questions, keep posting.

If i recall correctly, you can entrap multiple targets at the same time.

I had the talent for a while and i believe i got 2 or more mobs entrapped with a frost trap one time....
Pet died, i had to get out and one of the only times this talent actually helped me...

It will immobilize multiple targets.

But it very rarely does.

It seems to be good for immobilizing several mobs that are quite underleveled relative to the Hunter. On a lark one day (before I abandoned Entrapment) I decided to go run Gnomer and had a good chuckle watching large numbers of Leper Gnomes getting stuck in my Frost Traps. I respecced and dropped Entrapment before I really had a chance to test it out on higher level mobs, however.

I always assumed that "the target" referred to the monster that triggered the trap, not everyone in the AoE of it when it was activated by said mob. I have been known to be wrong, but I would think the tooltip would be more specific about snaring multiple mobs.
