S1 vs Veterans?Follow
I have a good amount of honor saved up and plenty of marks from all the BGs, and I'm wondering which to spend it on. The epic Veterans gears (belt, bracers, or boots) or spend it on the S1 gear we will be able to buy after the patch??
s1 gear till you get the 35 resil bonus, then its whatever slots need the most improvement

I personaly have all the veteran's stuff and NO arena stuff yet.
As season 3 starts, I'll be able to get 1 S3 part. The rest I'll fill with arena gear to replace my non-epic stuff and I'll keep my current veteran stuff which is good enough.
Only when I'm in full S3/S1 will I start replacing my veteran's gear. I think it makes sense since this is the biggest upgrade.

Exact the same for me.
Though I will get a S2 mainhand before I get a S3 armorpiece.

Depends on your play style and what you spend your time playing (arena, BG, etc) I find while I am starting to spend a bit of time in arena now, stamina is extremely important and the arena gear is very good for the increased stamina. I do have a mixture of both veteran merciless gear and plan on buying new leggings and helm with my saved up honor points.
