I'm at level 46 now, with improved gear:

I'm looking to get these now:

I have researched WSG and will try and go during the week. I notice in IF and Stormwind Battleground NPCs walking around during the weekend, but not during the week. Am I going to be able to earn the marks and honor during the week to buy these bracers?

Also, in a non-related question, am I on par with where I should be right now (just got Executioner's Cleaver) gear-wise, or should I twink at about 49 and get some good PvP gear?

The reason that you'll see the BG NPCs walking around on the weekends and not during the week is because of BG weekends. Basically the way it works is that each BG (WSG, AB, AV and EotS) have their own weekend where you get extra (bonus) honour in that particular BG.

That doesn't effect mark-gathering, though. :P The only thing that does is winning and losing (getting 3 compared to 1), so you're fine in that regard.

As for gear... executioner aside, since you have that already, the helm from the last boss in RFD is very nice, and the pants from Mara are pretty nifty as well.

Don't bother twinking out unless you plan on staying in the BG, though. Even then, be sure you plan on staying for a while (unlike my friend who not too long ago spent 2-300g on a some random things thinking he wanted to stay in the BG, then after a week decided he wanted to keep leveling).

Also, a note: If you want to PvP, an MS spec(or something like that) will prob'ly do a bit better than 2h fury. But that's not to say that 2h fury won't do well - if played right, it can do extremely well.

Thanks for the quick response. This is my first toon, so I'm learning as I go along.

I haven't tried a 2H arms build yet, but the fury build I've used has been great for PvE so far!

I've run RFD once and failed to get the Icemetal Barbute. What leggings are you referring to with Mara? I'll have to look that up.

I'm mainly a solo PvE warrior, but have definitely found it worthwhile to stop leveling for a while and focus on getting some specific gear that lasts me a long time rather than changing every 1-3 levels. Now that leveling has slowed, I'm definitely for upping my gear with great stuff that lasts.

The leggings that I'm refering to are these, they drop off the last boss in Maraudon (it's an instance around level 47-51). Personally, those leggings were ******** and never dropped and so I used a green. :P

And yeah, the helm can be a pain to get sometimes, but it's pretty nice nonetheless. (My paladin got stupid lucky... I got the helm and chest on my first run through RFD. Got neither on my runs with my warrior, though >.<)

Generally speaking (and I mean very general), Arms is for PvP and fury is for PvE, and for leveling 2h fury tends to be best in my experience.

Also, keep up with the questions and read some of the FAQs/guides and you should turn out well. :P
