i'm not a mage, but since the other guy was a douche, i'll try to help out. I would guess that when the demon is summoned you need to go to your "Spells" tab, and on the bottom right of that window should be a thing that sayd "Pet". Click on that, it should bring up all your pets spells, at which point you can drag an ability back into the skills bar.

Atleast, thats how it works for hunters/warlocks, not sure if the water elemental falls under the same category. Hope that helps

I am ABSOLUTELY UNsure whether this will work but, what about, make a macro:
(name it *space* and get the icon for freeze)

#showtooltip Freeze
/cast Freeze

Then summon the elemental and put it in the place where the freeze used to be, i am not sure you can out Macros on pet skill tab,but you can try,and if it does not work you can put it in your skill tab and just press it from there.

(im not even sure the macro would work but hey ,cant succeed without trying, maybe some one with more macro/mage knowlege then me could help more)

Disclaimer : Hey,at least i tried!

The pet section of the Spellbook only appears when you currently have a pet out. Have you tried summoning the elemental then quickly checking the spellbook before it disappears?

I tried the macro but it didn't work. Although it worked with waterbolt but it didn't work with freeze(the macro button appears just like i have no freeze).
For the pet spell section, i can't find it even when i have a water elemental with me.

Thanks all of u for help

well, il try to find something (that might not even exist) but i know what a GM response will be like
"Please delete your WTF folder, have a good day"
In other words
"Please delete a useless folder that stands for "what the f**k i dont know the answer" as i can not be bothered to research it and must be off to m@sturbate some more"

(sorry , i feel random today)
(i'll try to find the answer having a frost mage helps :P)

That's what I'd do, just put the spell on my normal hotbar if I couldn't get it back any other way.

Isn't there a /console reloadui command you could do while the pet is out?

If all else fails, when my Water Elemental doesn't spawn with a spell bar I don't have time to figure out why. I just do Ctrl+5.

The problem is for him Ctrl+5 is unbound.

I've tried using CTRL 5 , Freeze Macro (as Kizzahunt advised) and reloadui but nothing works. When i pressed CTRL 5 , nothing happened. When i created a Freeze macro, the macro button appeared grey as if my pet has no freeze skill. After using reloadui, nothing change either. In addition, i've already try retalent, default my interface and delete WTF, cache and Interface folders.
Anyway, my problem still persists.

i can't think of other solutions

if u guys have other solutions for my problem, plz let me know

Thanks alot for all ur help

If you use lots of mods, deleting your WTF folder can be painful ;) Takes me about 3 hours to reset everything up if I delete it.

Have you summoned your elemental and then opening your spellbook to see if there's a pet tab? If so, you can drag it out.
If that doesn't work, you could also try unlearning your talents and speccing back into WE.
EDIT: Nm about the WTF folder, read too quickly. If it's still an issue after trying those things, submit a ticket :/

Then why didn't you just say "It's a known issue, it'll be fixed in 2.3". So since it's a known issue they will not be charging you $22.

I think that's why he called you a douche.... Give them the answer or don't post.
