My disclaimer: I am sure this question comes up from time to time and I am just having trouble locating it, so apologies to anyone who's sick of it. I did of course read the stickies.
My situation: I've got a shiny new priest I'm duoing with a warrior, mainly questing/grinding/leveling rather than instances. Since healing one guy shouldn't be so intensive I need to level Holy to do it, I thought leveling Shadow would be a better option so I could also DPS and speed things up that way. But healing is still my job and I'll need to heal every fight (or nearly), so even though Shadow Form is the niftiest of the nifty, in this particular circumstance it doesn't seem like it would be that useful for me since I need to heal so much. I see the Shadow Priest FAQ says that Discipline talents work better in tandem with Shadow than Holy do, but still am not sure what the best build would be. So finally,
My question: Does anyone have any links to/suggestions for a hybrid build I could use while leveling that would boost DPS while still allowing me to stay in form to heal all the time?
EDITED TO ADD: Yes, I am an idiot! I now see the thread on the VERY FIRST PAGE called "Pure Hybrid" and a lot of comments along these lines already. If anyone has any additional advice for my particular case I of course will appreciate it, but to everyone else, my apologies for this post. Dur.
