"too much burst damage" as in WE KILL OUR OPPONENTS TO FAST...
enhancement is extremely viable for raids because of the party buffs,

One thing people always forget, Shamans are not raiders jsutb ecause of buffs, DW Enhancement Shamans are among the top DPSers in the entire game when raiding.

True, but when you have a surplus of rogues who are potentially higher DPS why take a Shaman? Because of the buffs.

Many Enhance Shamans I know consistently finish in the Top 3 in damage, buffs are a nice bonus, but not the sole purpose for Enhancement Shamans.

I used to finish top of the charts regularly when I was doing Kara and Gruul, I have recently moved on to some higher end raids and the sad truth is the further I go the more my dps falls back on the list.
