re-gem for +8 str across the board? :: Free Realms

this is me

some pieces of gear are slightly different but i have basically my entire PvE set on minus bladefist's breadth, and i mainhand the planar edge and offhand guile of khoraazi (picked up the cloak on my first kara the other night ^^ ).

should i re-gem for +8 str, and ditch all of the additional crit?

Well... upgrading the pvp weapon aside, you dont have your D/W weapons on. It would depend on where your crit level is at while you're dual wielding.

IMO you should stay as you are, your balance of crit and AP is pretty good.

I dont know if I've interpreted it wrong but get Hourglass of the unraveller (SP?) for some extra crit, this will allow you to re-socket a slot or two with 8 str gems. Also you can get 12 agility enchants to both boots and cape, thats another few gems you can swap for more str.

P.S-Gratz on the cape, my first proper go at kara last night too, attumen down pretty fast but then people had to leave.... was good fun tho and i came 2nd on damage like 10 DPS below our very well geared lock :D

yes, i do intend to get a few chants like +agi on cape (had it on my old cloak of the inciter) and boots. also farming mats for ragesteel gloves, which will give me 10 less AP but +27 crit rating and +20 hit rating for the set bonus with ragesteel shoulders. thinking about black felsteel bracers as an upgrade to my demolisher's bracers, which the ragesteel set hit bonus should compensate for, giving me 12 more strength from the bracers alone and a bit more crit.

almost ten runs now for the hourglass and no luck so far =(

Black felsteel bracers are nice, I got them a while ago and havn't looked back.

I have to go but take a look at my armoury if you want some more ideas etc.
