Not Mongoosexcore, but the enchant, I mean :)

I just got Mongoose on my MH last night, and within about 5 minutes I had a physical headache from the damned thing's flashing all the time!

I was wondering if any of the rogues here who've had Mongoose for a while have had a similar problem, and if you found any way to get round it, either with graphics settings, mods, or tweaking the game files? I've searched all the settings in WoW, Googled it, and no joy, but I can't believe I'm the only one who has this problem with it, it's just way too bright :(

Thanks for any advice you can offer, and in the meantime I'll just keep playing with my shades on...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that if you have your graphics turned all the way UP, the bright green glow is traded in for something a bit duller with a few more inner details.

My weapons don't show the glow, since the gladiator glow overwrites it. It's pretty bad on small weapons, though.

You will die of headache in raids then when you'll see boss nuked by dozens casters and every melee performing moves and getting procs, so better to leave now :)

you dont wanna live with me? :'(

side note: spell effects, turn it to low instead of high or medium, thatll help

(NOTE anything not on high and you wont be able to see certain things... the ground effect on paladin's consecration is the biggest one ive noticed... youve been warned)

Turn on screen low, get drunk [ingame] and raid. Your head will explode.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Turning spell effects right down did seem to reduce the frequency of the flashing, at least. Combined with zooming right out and dropping the gamma a few notches, it's a lot better. Thankfully, it turned out that I hardly notice it when I'm actually fighting, so it's just a case of getting the darn thing out of sight between fights.
