Damnit! Somewhat OTFollow

Got into an argument in OoT and missed my 2k Ding >.<


In other notes, I left my guild 2 days ago because the Old GM, whome everybody told me was such a bad dude, came back. Everything went well (I hadn't been there for his rule previously) until 2 days after he came back they gave hiom Officer status AND Raid lead, after the fact he had told everybody he is leaving the 1st of December for Basic Training... He is joining my god damn Air Force!! Here I thought AF hired for Brains but he disproves that...

Anyways He ran raids saying healing assignments were useless, and was wondering why the healers were out of mana every pull ("There is three healers, why are you all out of mana?"), and was wondering why we couldn't down Prince and Nightbane, blamed it on the healing (running on my Resto Shammy), then we downed prince when I actually said in short ********** you here are the healing assignments".

I left because he was alwasy stirring the pot, getting people piossed off at each other. When somebody said something about "When am I going to get into Kara". Somebody mentioned "Why do people think that they can come into the guild and immidiately get a run". I then notified him this perticular guy had been in for 3 Weeks, I kept pushing the raid leaders to get him in (Boomkin- Love my spell crit) but since the old GM was Raid Lead, he kept filling it up with his buddies, saying "sorry you should have been on time" when the officers had already promised him a slot, and he DID show up on time, He just decided he was going to start the run early.

Everybody in the Raid group was saying, "Yeah they can't expect to get in all the time", but here is the pisser: The people saying that were people guarenteed slots due to Healing/Tanking whatever, and/or buddy buddy with the Old GM. They kept badmouthing the people complaining and I said F-this quit the guild and all the drama, and about 5 of the Core Raid group came out with me.

Oh- Another issue I had:

The Current GM went onto the bank toon (they had stated "If you are out farming and get some greens, kindly send them to the bank for fund for pots") and saw there were no greens in the Mailbox.

"Once again no greens in the mailbox"

I said if I had any I would send em, but I don't farm.

"Well maybe you should start"

I said "Why should I go out and farm when I can make plenty of money sitting here in IF all day long, and make about 300x what I would make out farming?"

"Cause if you go farm you are helping the guild out with the money made"

I said "I am constantly giving out potions and flasks and doing enchants for people- not charging them mats if I have them, hell I even used up 4 Primal Nethers for Armor Kits, why should I go out and farm if I am helping the guild out same as everybody else if not more so, the only difference being it is not passing through your hands so you have no control over it"

"You need to start farming or your not getting anything out of the bank and you will not be alloowed to raid"

I said "You just have no control that is what is bugging you, I am not going to farm and I would guarentee if you ask anybody they will tell you I have given them something that wasn't exactly cheap, and you can't raid without me, I'm a godamn healer, I would love to see you try it"

"........"

3 day later I quit the guild because enough is enough.

Moral of the story- research your godamn guilds before you join!

gratz on 2K. My guild is finally starting to make real progress. We went from wiping on maiden (ugh healing) to one shotting our way to shade on Wednesday. (shade took 2 hits). tonight is nethespite and maybe prince. We'll see. We've recruited some really good people lately and it looks like we'll be able to start running group 2. So I am content. Even though nothing has dropped for my hunter in 3 weeks, so I'm still stuck with just the crossbow from kara. I still top the dps! (750 on attumen Caldone :P)

Admit it. You were breathing easier with my unexplained absence. There was a void in your life shaped roughly like me, and you couldn't make yourself decide if it was a good or a bad thing.

I totally agree with you North. Snipers and ground forces are the real soldiers. Everyone else is hiding in their bases, boats, and measly planes! Plus I think your old GM is a ****. I would have ditched that guild as well.

I am taking immense pleasure in topping the DPS charts as a BM Hunter in mostly blues (Valanos Longbow) over a fully epicced out MM Hunter with Sunfury Bow. The only people who can top me on single target DPS is our leet *** Mage, and the top Lock wipes the floor with us on any fight that has more than one target because he's affliction and uses Seed of Corruption or knows how to time it on Curator to do the magic buff and Doom spell just as he innervates.

Anyway this is just another way for me to say BM > MM, but even more so.. Skill > Gear because even back when I still had some greens I was beating out another fully Epic BM Hunter in Kara fights, and not by just 1-2%, I was maybe #3 mostly #2 and he was #5 or 6.

Also, if all Caldone is doing is sitting in a major city, there are only a few things he could be doing.
1) Buying low selling high from AH
2) Enchanting for tips
3) Jewelcrafting for tips
4) Lockboxes for tips on his Rogue
5) Any other type of crafting and doing it for tips or payment.

Not worth much more than a mention and a tear or two but my guild did give the very first ever dragon spine trophy to drop for us to an enhancement shaman yesterday in a raid with 3 hunters and 2 or 3 rogues :(

I second that.

edit: he doesnt nessecarily have to drill a hole in his skull, the gorilla's can pop out an eye too.
