which race?Follow

I am going to make a prot pally. I wonder how much HP different for each race in end game since dwarf has the most HP for there base states. Also is stonefrom any useful for tanking?

Which looks cooler? Thats basically the only question you need. Any health difference will not matter, and stoneform won't make or breatk you.

If you really want a racial that will save the day, go Blood elf. Arcane torrent has saved my but many times.

Indeed, health won't make a real difference in end-game. Racials might, however.

A Draenei's GotN is actually good for a Holy Pally since it scales with +Heal. A Dwarf's Stoneskin can be nice for tanking, though I do not know to what extent. A Human's racials are somewhat trivial, in my opinion, as the reputation gains will be convenient for all races will eventually catch up anyway. BE's Mana Tap and Arcane Torrent is pretty nice and all, but anyway if you're rolling Horde you don't have any choice on the race. :P

All in all, go with looks first, and then racials if two races are at a tie.

Human's racials are going to be immensely trivial with the next patch.

You only need honored to get heroic keys now, an idiotic move by Blizz. No heroic PuG is going to be done because of all the undergeared people trying to do heroics.

Yea I've been saying that ever since I heard about it Jack. Can you imagine a tank or healer in full greens trying to do a heroic? /shudder

Well fortunately I don't have to deal with it (since I'm not playing) sucks for all you guys though.

I didn't know there was enough whiney baby's QQing about how long it takes to grind up to Revered. It's like 5 instance runs after getting honored MAX, that can be done in a day if that's all you do that day.

I entirely agree with the "it's rather simple to get to Revered" but I'm not convinced about people being undergeared if they can run Heroics earlier. My memory may fail me, but I don't think my gear changed so much in 5-10 runs of one place to go from Honored to Revered.

Also, you can always /armory people so at least you can tell if they're ready or not. Sometimes just a quick "inspect" glance will reveal it.

What are Blizz thinking? Honored for heroics :|. . . In theory you could do the quests with Thrallmar, ding lvl 70 and go heroic at once. What will the next be, making the level required for heroic 65?

Again, getting revered won't take that long. I got from honored to Exhalted with Thrallmar in less then a day (19 hours or so - man was I wasted after that :P).

Back to topic. One thing I like with Belf tankadins is, that they from lvl 1 have a ranged move agains casters - and a way to pull them (Manatap, hide behind a wall and just hit the consecration button :P)

It's not as big of a deal for dps, those don't show as much. It's a big deal for healers though. A lot of heroic fights can be pretty healing intensive, and if you haven't collected some of the non-heroic gear then you will be ill-suited to heal that instance yet you will be able to.

Another thing to think about is a lot of the gearing up happens at revered for certain factions. For healers there is the Lower City Prayerbook, X'iri's gift, that ring from thrallmar/honor hold. All of the head enchants, etc...
