My first suspicion would be that the comment is an allusion to mother goose, a fictional character in American folklore.

It was in fact an allusion to mother goose, which apparently missed the mark.
I thought that'd be an easy one guess not tho :(.
But no it wasn't actually at all related to actual gender.
Actually, I could have also been referring to Goose from Top Gun and he was referred to as Mother Goose once in the movie but then again that woulda fallen under the lil ***** meaning...and that's not what I meant.
Besides mongoose isn't your rogue undead? Do they even get classified as genders anymore? The biological and reproductive differences between the two genders can't possibly be relevant for UD.
