Lvl 41 DPS Warrior looking for plateFollow

#1 Nov 07 2007 at 10:49 PM Rating: Decent
Hey guys, this is my first warrior and I'm having a gear issue. I was wondering what were some good items for this level. I have about 60 gold at this point so money isn't a huge problem. I'd like to save a little for a mount but staying alive> moving faster. Here is my char.

Any advice on gear would be appreciated. I know all my gear sucks but I hate shopping for gear like crazy.

PS. Talent advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Big Al

Get the mount first and fill in your plate as you go.

There are a plate chest and hat in Razorfen Downs you can go for right now though.

"of the Bear" will be good. Health and Attack Power bonus for the Str/Stam those pieces have. There are some plate gloves you can get from Uldaman but you will probably be expected to tank the instance in order to get them. There is a nice helm from Maraudon (sp?) from the rock boss towards the end.

2 drops from Zul'Farrak (43 & 45 plate) that you can work on in a few levels.

I just hit level 45. I have the Carapace of Tutenkash. I need the helmet (Icemetal Barbute) and I REALLY need those Big Bad Pauldrons. I have some good gauntlets right now, but I really need to hit ZF and re-run RFD.

I know my gloves are outdated, but they're probably the best DPS gloves for lvl 40-49 bracket.

They drop off this guy in ZF. http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=8127

Random enchantment, so you may need to have someone run you a lot to get those exact gloves.

I'm not sure how much you enjoy PvP... but personally if I were you I would do some PvP in WSG. Get the Berserker Bracers... they really do kick *** ( AND they are purple :P ). Also, I'm not sure if you did the quests yet, but there is a quest for SM you get from Sylvanas I think, anyways get the Sword of Omen. Also do the quest for RFD, also picked up in the UC, and get the Vanquishers Sword. Or if you PvP enough you can get a Legionaires Sword (sp?). The pvp gear is fantastic for leveling.

Just looked these up and am making this my next goal, as I just got the BB Pauldrons and bought the Executioner's Cleaver. They look terrific, and I think the warrior guide here tells us to put the agility enchantment on them.

I don't know much about PvP and battlegrounds, but how many marks (20 are needed) are awarded per WSG run?
