Hi right now im deciding whether to stay with combat swords, or to go to Combat daggers. My real question is whats the difference between the two?

The difference isn't worth the respec. Theoretically daggers has slightly higher damage, but in practice it just doesn't work out that way.
Swords have a small chance to get an extra swing and since they are slower do more damage from your instant attacks. On the other hand, daggers have a slightly higher crit chance and allow you to utilize some of the dagger only rogue abilities/merits.
Daggers require you to be behind your target. Swords don't.
Now think about that in terms of fights like Curator and Shade of Aran.
It should be pretty obvious that swords win.

yea i was thinking of going daggers at 70 just for the hell of it you know ?

yea thats exactly what im thinking. I wanna try out either daggers or maces. But dont know what to spec to. I want to do both PvE and arena/PvP at 70.

I would imagine combat maces would be a much more useful spec for Arena than combat daggers, generally speaking. If you're desperate for daggers (and I can't blame ya for that), I think most people here would recommend muti.

Combat Maces is the best Arena spec right now, and it'll be even better after 2.3. They are going to buff it slightly with the patch, but for PvE, Combat Swords will still do more damage.
If you really want to use dagger, and you plan to PvE and PvP, Mutilate is the only way to go. Combat Daggers is pretty good at the former, but horrible at the latter, and Shadowstep builds are still laughable (for now!).
