best tank pet for Hunters 10+Follow

You'll find this is a common debate between hunters. It more a personall preferance. I say tame both a boar and a bear try them each out for 1 lvl then deside which you like better. Thats what i did while i lvled and couldn't decide on pets to use.

A bit of sage advise is to always keep at least 1 stable slot open so you can try out new pets when you find one. I say this cause i made the mistake of abandoning all my old pre-bc pets to get the new outland ones.

Worst mistake i ever made. I always keep a dps pet for instance runs and pvp. Then have a tank pet for questing, rep farming, or gold grinding. My pre-bc pets where brokentooth and u'cha which i used up to 60. Then bc came out replaced BT for a ravager and u'cha for a warphunter.

To make a long story short i really miss my old pets for the ones i have now don't do as well as my other ones. So make sure to do alot of research on a pet via petopia or any hunter forum before forsaking a good pet for something that might not turn out so good.
