Combat Swords and sword spec.Follow

I was wondering how valuable the sword specialization is for a sword build. I know this sounds stupid to even think about, but I just dont see the extra attack proccing enough to warrent 5 talent points. Instead I have put 3 points in Imp gouge (more for the pvp aspect of restealthing) and the other 2 into lethality for the extra crit damage on SS.

Stupid? (Obviously the 3 in imp gouge is just a personal preference and spending the 3 in another talent would probably lead to higher damage)

Link your build. There is probably a more frivolous talent you could exchange for it...b/c I'm thinking you must have at least 3 points in Lightning Reflexes which....no....just no.

I am combat swords and it proc's allot, 5% of the time. Both attacks can crit and it goes of the damage from your MH weapon so a weak OH attack can become a crit MH real fast.
I don’t know if your changes will bump your overall dps, but I am willing to say not, the raiding spec's on the sticky's (Thanks nOOblestick) have been well tested and are tried and true.
I am only combat swords because I raid allot, if you plan on doing PVP go combat maces. I figure you are planning on going PVP because of imp gouge. I’m not positive of the numbers but I know the stun procks more than 5% of the time.

I am noticing that aggression was more than likely a waste.

This is really my first time actually looking into builds, as this is my first character. I played mostly sub until about lvl 50, then switched over to swords for the combat spec.

Im open to all suggestions. I was sub before because I played with 2 friends, since then, we had stopped playing together, but now I sometimes play with them again; so soloability is pretty important. Also, I enjoy pvp, or at least being able to defend myself.

Use those points in Lightening reflexes somewhere else.

You need improved Sprint for PVP, and improved kick is pretty darn nice to have as well.

Reconsider the three points you spent in improved evis. Probably better to go with 2 points in murder, leaving an extra point to put into ruthlessness.

Find a way to grab relentless strikes if possible. It's a kickass talent for only 1 point.
