Saw this at pvpscene.com

Mage

* Ignite: This talent is no longer triggered by damage dealt by Molten Armor.

Hmmm, meaning no more broken sheep because the thing that was attacking you got ignited by your molten armor. Also means that rogue that is attacking you won't have a dot on him from ignite. I think this is a double-edged sword. Good for PvE and bad for PvP.

Good for CC. Bad for using TLC to kill lowbies without touching them. Edit: unless it still crits but just doesn't ignite.

Definite nerf. Rare that I'm standing still, in melee range of my attacker, trying to sheep. Painfully annoying, I'll admit, in those rare circumstances that MA crits just before I get off a sheep; but I'll sacrifice those few and far betweens for the extra DoT on the rogue or on the miscellaneous add while grinding.

there is another problem, the dot from the Molten armor crit makes you lose damage if you had an ignite on already. In pvp, I would like to see molten armor get some sort of a boost to its chance to proc impact. Its a ultra annoying tactic that some frost mages are using now since they decided that putting points into arcane for that one measely halfarsed silenced is pointless.

sure the ignites help with annoying rogues, but I would take that for being able to sheep someone/something that is hitting me.

I guess I was under the impression that Ignite procs stacked (I realize Ignite isn't really a proc, but for lack of a better word...). Thought I remembered reading that in the FAQ here. How does a MA ignite reduce dmg from a prior Ignite proc?

They stack, but they no longer roll. Though the math on it is semi complicated, one ignite does not lose you the damage from the previous one.
