When is the next patchFollow
as it says trolling around forums I just cant find it so thought I would ask the wise and wonderful locks
Hard to say. My background downloader has been pulling down info for it for the last few days but I'll bet we don't see it before the end of November. Just a guess.
The next patch will be released after it's done.

Hasn't Blizz said that they will notify us a week or 2 before it goes live? I'm not sure, but I think I heard that somewhere.

Not exactly, they said they'd give 2 weeks of notice before ending arena Season 2, and have since then hinted on several occasions that this event would not happen on patch day.

The cat is out of the bag, Drysc stated that S3 starts in 2 weeks from now, 1 week after patch 2.3 goes live, so next week unless something causes a delay.
