So I was recently checking out the leatherworking patterns for my rogue and noticed that after around lvl 40 there aren't any recipe's for ammo pouches or quivers. Now the reason I ask is on my hunter who's a lvl 60, I'm using both the ammo pouch from my lvl 40 and the quiver also lvl 40ish, but is there anything that drops from bosses? It would seem that a 16 slot ammo/quiver would be a little rough for raids. Even when I run instances I probably run through about half of my ammo on a good run. So is there anything else?
You could get a 18slot quiver with 15% haste from doing the hunter epic quest for the bow and staff.
With BC you can buy a 18slot quiver and ammo pouch with 15% haste from Kurenai and Consortium (you'll need honored faction).
With 2.3 there will be new pouches and quivers available. These can be crafted by leatherworkers and will have 20 (quiver, ammo pouch) and 24 (quiver, ammo pouch) slots.
The 24slot version will require a primal nether, other than that, the materials to craft these things are reasonable (perhaps except for the 99 light feathers for the 24slot quiver).

There isn't anything bigger than 16 until you get to level 60. There are drops and quest rewards and such, but they only give slight speed increases. The ouldands have 18 slot ones as rep items, and when 2.3 comes out, there will be 20 and 24 slot bags, but I'm pretty sure they're for level 60 as well.
"Quiver of a Thousand Feather" Pshh... it's only 99... I want my money back.

well pre-outlands has 2 decent pouches and quivers that i used.
