In BG's when I try to fear a warrior on my priest or warlock, I often get the result Immune Immune Immune very often.

Not including WoTF, all warriors. What is this devilish magic? Seriously though, how many fear immune abilities do you have and what is the duration, cooldown of each?

Zerker Rage - 10s Duration, 30s CD, useable from Berserker Stance. Base ability.
Death Wish - 30s Duration, 3m CD, useable from any stance (requires 10 Rage). Talented Fury ability, but every PvP Warrior picks up and with good reason.
Recklessness - 15s Duration, 30m CD, useable from Berserker Stance. You don't see this one often.

The answer is still not enough. Warriors have been crapped on in every way imaginable. Think of the few temporary immunities that warriors get in comparison to how often they need them. Basically warriors are equipped with armor and a pointy stick; no heals, no force fields, no ranged spells. I think it is very likely that once WotLK has been out a while, you'll never see another warrior. All warrior jobs will be filled by paladins and death knights.

As usual thanks so much RP. Two abilities that have low CD's, so I should be expecting this each fight and try to keep my distance.

My distance for my spells is 36 yards and charge and intercept is 25 yards I believe, wonder if I can pull this off. Will have to theorycraft this in the next bunch of BG's.

Curse of Exhaustion from 36 yards away and keep him there and I think I should be safe. Once a warrior gets in my face it's like hell trying to get out alive.

Warriors are among the most feared in PvP when geared decently. Join a WSG and look for yourself or check out the top 5v5 teams in arena, damn near all of them have a Warrior.

I think it would be retarded if Warriors had heals, force fields and ranged spells, don't you? They wouldn't be a warrior if they had those! If that does not appeal to you, why did you want to be one? You guys hit like freakin' trucks, does that make up for it?

Blizzard won't leave warriors in the backseat when it comes to tanking, I don't think you'll have to worry about that. Level 60 warriors were choice #1, and they still are for most groups at the level 70 bracket.

I'm not familiar with your guys class history with nerfs and buffs. But I think the class is doing great in both aspects of the game

keep in mind that bgs and arenas are group pvp environments, i.e. the place where the warrior class is designed for. as for the history, its been pretty much nothing but nerfs. our buffs come in the form of better gear, which generally results in a nerf of some kind somewhere down the road. thats the pattern thus far at least.

but thats a whole other thread really, so lets let it lie.

ill add a few more things regarding recklessness (aka reck). it adds a +20% damage modifier to the warrior, that stacks with zerker stance and death wish. completely tricked out, a berzerking death wished warrior in zerker stance using recklessness has +45% damage incoming from all sources. whats this mean? well, for one, youre probably going to die, at least if that warrior is at full life. if you have siphon life, itll be ticking for a hefty amount, as will every other thing you do to him. likewise, drain life will be hitting almost 1.5x as hard as normal (it will be about 1.65x is you have untalented CoS on the war). chances are, if you face a warrior in that condition, youll die if he gets near you, but if you can layer him with DoT's and drain tank as much as possible, youve got a decent chance of at least making sure he dies shortly after you do.

recklessness alone isnt too terribly to handle. drain tanking is the best way to deal with warriors who are fear immune. doubly so if you can sac a VW to kill our rage gen while drain tanking. charm works decently as well, at least vs warriors who arent undead and have their pvp trinket down.

also, as a general rule, nearly every warlock i know saves their death coil for warriors who are fear immune. not only does this CC the warrior for a short time, but said warrior will increase the damage/life return of your death coil by at least 5% (with death wish up) to as high as the aforementioned 65% if the stars align.

Cool thanks for the additional tips Quor. When I said I think Warrior is fine I forgot about Prot. Here's to hopin that Protection Warriors can have it's talents adjusted to be a viable force in PvP some day.

Hearing casters say things like that reminds me why I rolled a warrior in the first place. :]

Btw Zornov, good warriors always relish combat with warlocks. We do know our horrid near-immunity to fear is the bane of all your efforts to contain us!
/evillaugh

Curse of Exhaustion is a very good tool against us though.

Like green said, you better have CoE or youre pretty much toast agains a war. Wars and rogues were made to you know.....eat clothies alive. Most the time I see a warrior I run like hell the other direction spamming CoE, thats the only way to live it seems lol.
