Darkmoon card: WrathFollow

#1 Nov 05 2007 at 11:04 PM Rating: Decent
I've had the storms deck sitting in my bank for a while now, I originally tried to sell it, but had no real interest. Now that the Darkmoon Faire is in town, I'm now wondering if I should try and sell it, or use it myself.

Now I'm a muti rogue, and I suspect my crit is low. The variable nature of Wrath worries me, It's not a set crit increase. I have read that given a crit rate or 20%, it'll add something like 2.38%. But crit rate already is a chance. Am I wrong in thinking that I do more white swings than muti, hence that I'll get more of an increase in crit on white swings than my muti swings?

Another concern is that It doesn't seem that great anyway. I'm going to get the Hourglass ASAP, so I'll be running around with the Hourglass and Bladefists. I've got a dps spreadsheet open. I'm struggling with it tbh, and I can't use any macros with openoffice. From what I've put in I'd get a 1dps increase (non-buffed) with Wrath and the Hourglass.

It seems I should try and sell it again, or am I missing something?

As [wowitem=31857]darkmoon card: wrath[/wowitem] only adds crit chance when you are not critting, I tihnk it is pretty useless for a rogue.

The crit benefits of this trinket are affected by the chance of the player to have a streak of non-crit hits. These streaks are less likely for players who already have a high crit chance. Also, the trinket itself, by increasing crit chance, progressively makes long non-crit streaks less likely.

All it adds is crit rate, I would rather have [wowitem=31859]madness[/wowitem] for grinding, was thinking about using it in PvP, but then again, if I kill a player in 2v2 or 3v3, that usually seals the game anyway, and I already have enough hit points as it is.

[wowitem=31856]crusade[/wowitem] would be much more beneficial than wrath for a muti rogue in my opinion.

Storms is the worst melee deck, easily. I'd say trade it for Blessings if you really wanted a darkmoon card, or sell it and put the money towards your epic mount (which is definitely worth the 5200g).

Sounds like I'm not missing something then. As for the epic fund, well that's why I started collecting a deck, wish I really had a look into it before just buying cheap cards. I've got my epic too, so as long as I break even, I'll call it a win.

Cheers for the input.
