ferals healing in outlandsFollow

Anyone have any experience with this? I've been collecting just-in-case-healing gear but wanted to have some idea of how difficult it would be to heal as a feral druid in the outlands instances. I didn't have any problems in the azeroth ones...

Thanks for any opinions.

once you start getting the naturalist talent to eventually get omens. you can easily main heal most lower instances. I've been feral omens for a while and never had problems with healing (ie I obtained omens first after aspect of pack then built up for mangle) because of that I've not had a lack of invites from people who have partied with me. after all if they need a healer. ooh this druid is good. if they need a tank ooh the same druid is good.
if they need dps. ^_^ let's just say I don't need to fill my friends list but people keep calling on me if they see I'm not in an instance.

Nearly all the non-heroic instances in Outland are doable as feral healing. However it becomes noticeably tougher in the 70 instance when dungeons require far more endurance than before. In terms of gear, I used to just stack up the int and +heal before BC, but now mp5 items seem to help me far more than Int ever did.

If you are feral, then getting naturalist and ooc is vital. However when you're healing, ooc is meaningless. It only procs with physical attacks, and if you have to resort to swinging your staff in battle, consider your group wiped.

my own suggestion would be to give the 0/30/31 spec a try. You lose mangle and a bit of DPS, but you gain a vast amount of healing potential. Though you lose dps, you can still handle solo PVE no problem and you can still tank fine.
