How far down the Shadow tree do shadow priests usually go? Which How many tiers are complete?
I am curious to see if shadow priests usually stop at Shadow Form or complete the tree for Vampiric Touch. Each tier would represent an interval of 5 points, and tier six would start with Shadow Form, and tier 8 would start with Vampiric Touch, etc.

Standard raiding/PvE builds are 47 points in shadow, though some players go even deeper. PvP is between 41 and 44.
If you go shadow, you get vt, period. It's what people bring us to raids for.

I have all 61 points in shadow...perhaps a little unorthodox, but works for me.
I can see how you work with a build that deep, at least if you're raiding (not sure you are). Between the IF and Meditation, that's a minimum of 50mp5, and about 75mp5 after next patch. That goes a *long* way for mana regen on those long fights.
