^ All above stories are all too familiar....maybe some day we will all laugh about this...but I doubt it.

#1 petpeeve of a pug...agro extrodinaires. For example, a guildie was running me thru uldaman for chant training (paying back for the 800 times ive run his twink alts thru deamdmines). He brought along some huntard (lvl 50) that wanted a run thru also. Mind you, guildie is lvl 70 hunter. Most people would understand that "run-thru" means stand behind the high lvl meat sheild, right? Not this one.

She ran into, I swear, EVERY swarm of scorpids she could find, And died, every single time. Why? Because she wasn't even following him. Ran off on her own.

She had her pet on agressive. Not the greatest idea in a dungeon, especially if you cant even handle lvl 43 scorpids (non elite).

My guildie runs back to entrance to pick up another guildie for crowd control, a lvl 45 lock. Said lock continuously tells huntard to stay BACK and quit agroing whole rooms.

At one lovely point, she agro'd a whole flock of troggs, which attacked me after she bit the dust. I died also. I'm in the graveyard and notice that my armor is toast. I tell the others i will hearth, repair and the lock can re-summon me. I hearth, repair, and all the while she never rezzes. Someone finally asks her what shes doing and she states that someone better rez her because she' died too many times already. I laugh and explain that hunters only "rez" if they have jumper cables, and locks only can once/half hour with a soulstone. She proceeds to *****, and they have to run all the way out to meeting stone to summon me because she refuses to help.

At end boss, he drops a pretty sweet polearm, BoP. I can't use it, but its a lvl 37 or so weapon, so I'm thinking maybe I can disenchant for a shard. No such luck. We all put in greed, THEN she puts need. Need. At lvl 50. For a lvl 37 weap. 0_o Someone asks her if she really needed it, and she replies well what are you gonna do about it now? the run is over" and hearths out. Granted, there was no HUGE need for it on my part, but I considering that rude, ESP. when the runner lays ground rules beforehand that no one needs without asking first.

So not really a PuG story as much as an "I hate idiots" story.

Yep, we have all had those horror stories at some point or other. All you can do (in your case) is let yout guildies, homies and friends now what a nightmare that alt was to group with. Don't deal with him/her in the future.

Id quod circumiret, circumveniat - what goes around, comes around. At some point in the future you will come across her again, where she needs assistance. Don't give it to her, and if she asks you why not, explain to her.

But most importantly, just don't group with her again. Ever.

You know, I wish people's reputations actually stuck with them and spread as common knowledge. I can't count the number of people I've known who ninja/grief lowbies (on their own faction no less)/plug jerk their first death (which is their own fault usually). When confronted with this later when they are added to another party, their response is always "I'd never do anything like that."

They join the group, go along, wipe it repeatedly or ninja loot, then dissapear again, griefers are heralded as paragons of the server. It's nearly sickening at times.

I've had annoying players and ninjas before, but I have never seen one of them just full out says that "they know they did and they dont care plus theres nothing you can do about it".

My realm does that though it will be harder to keep a bad rep on somebody since Blizz is now making it possible to chage your name.

I can't speak for everyone but I've been grouping with a certain couple of people every time I've had an instance to run.

Along with these two, we'd added random WoWers to the group if we feel we need am extra bod or two.

We have found it difficult playing with strangers as they have absolutly no shame about ripping you off and escaping into the sunset.

So now, before we even enter the instance we are forced to have a word on party chat and explain to them that the policy is ask before you need. If you start needing with asking then you are subject to a warning system; First need you get warned, second you get last warning, third kicked from group and ignored no matter how deep in the instance you are.

We found that this helped us greatly as we've not had many problems since we started this.

It's a shame though that people have to bring in measures like this; people should be able to be fair to one another.

well Charski, I find you too kind for them... Three chances is a lot. Come on... you tell them something really simple. 'You need without asking, you are off' why would you give him a second and third chance? It is more than obvious that he wants to trick you. So punish the $#@%

"BUT IT WAS MY LITTLE BROTHER! I SWEAR IT!"

Thats what they always say if you call them on it in another group.

Just like Loot Whores get geared up and leave guild, ALWAYS "to be in a guild with rl friends"
