I thought I understood but I guess I don't. I went to the altar with mats all ready for 14 pieces of shadowcloth to make my frozenshadoweave robe. I get there I click "create all" and it creates two pieces then engages the cooldown. Is that correct? They only allow you to make 2 pieces of shadowcloth every 4 days?
It depends on which tailoring you have. If you have shadoweave tailoring you can make 2 shadow cloth every 4 days, and 1 of mooncloth, and spellcloth every 4 days.
So yeah you can only make 2 every 4 days, thats why they are so expensive to buy.

just farm gold and buy all that shadowcloth you need. Then make 2 pieces every 4 days to and sell em to make gold.
you will not do yourself much good to make the cloth on your own, you just stand to lose more.

When I was making my crafted pieces (both sets now) I would farm the mats and just buy specced cooldowns and use my own when I had it up.
