I went all the way to 70 as a pet spec warlock and now I'm doing lots of instances to level out my faction and I'm feeling like I'm not contributing from a damage perspective.
Since I've got the extra points in my sucubuss, she definately kicks butt for crowd control, but I'm not sure if maybe I should choose a different spec for regular and heroic instancing?
Admittedly, my gear does need some work (my shadow damage bonus is only around 800ish) so maybe that's my problem, but I guess the question is whether or not a pet spec warlock is wanted/needed at the end game?

Improved sucubus doesn't have much affect on CC, it just means seduce will last 18 seconds instead of 15.
Unless you have loads of spell damage and spell crit, affliction is a good damage spec in raids and dungeons, my 3 favorite dps specs are 41/0/18+2, 0/21/40 and 0/40/21. I wouldn't recommend the latter 2 specs until you get large amounts of spell crit and spell damage though, affliction is a very good starter spec that can last you until mid-late T5 content, and you could even stay affliction through the whole game.
Basically you want UA, bane, devestation, shadowburn is nice, and destructive reach is nice too. I usually go 43/0/18.

So pet spec for leveling and then nuke or dot for end game?

From what I understand, I have seen few Demo locks for Kara/raiding. NOW, that does not mean that they are useless...each lock tree/build is usefull in its own way. I prefer affliction/destro just because I am so used to it. Sorry demo locks, I tried it and I prefer the affliction way of life. The 43/0/18 build from mikelolol is the usual template for your raiding builds.

I am currently making my attunement for Kara. My specc is 0/43/18, that i know should suffer some changes...
Now, its my intention to keep Felguard, so i need those 41 pts in Demo. Where do u guys sugest i spend the rest? Is it vaiable to go 0/41/20 ??
