Just a quick question on SoR. I have a lvl 54 Holy Pally with Improved SoR, and all the other fun Holy stuff. I was thinking about going down the Ret tree to get SoC to help out with damage while I solo around since I've been reading about how much damage you can do with it.

Oh, and I have a nice, slow 2H weapon for when I solo (always 1H + shield in groups).

I recently noticed that when I use SoR, my Holy Damage is always more than my white damage (white will avg ~215, and yellow will avg ~240). This doesn't include crits. Oh, and I always start a fight by judging Crusader, so that would add to holy dmg.

So, since SoC only "sometimes" adds 70% of your damage (i.e. when it procs)...is it really worth it?

Sometimes 70% seems < Always more than 100%.

Maybe I'm missing something regarding my other talent specs...Thanks for any insight.

if your a spec that relies heavily on spell damage then rightousness will always be better then pretty much everything.

only a full ret spec can actaully take advantage of Seal of Command. Same with Seal of Blood.

as a Prot, both are about half the damage as my Rightousness. im assuming it will be the same for Holy Spec.

Thanks for the insight.

As a Holy spec, I pretty much do rely on spell damage. Barely any of my gear has +str. It's all Eagle stuff or similar (i.e. int/sta).

Looks like I'll just hang onto my regular SoR, and maybe get some neat Prot talents :)

Thanks.
