5 talent points in naturalist increase physical damage by 10%.
How much percentage 5 talent points in predatory strike increase, on average? After taking into account crit percentages, etc.

predatory strike 3 points = increases attack by 150% of your level
Heart of the wild 5 points = intel +20%, ion bear form Stam +20%, while in cat STR +20%

I'll compare Predatory Instincts and Naturalist talents, even though it's unclear if you mean Predatory Instincts or Predatory Strikes.
Predatory Instincts (5/5) increases your damage from critical hits by 10%.
So in effect, it's equal to having 10% of your crit chance as extra damage. That's a rough way to estimate your damage gained by this talent.
Meaning that 30% crit chance, will get a bonus of ~3% damage. 40% crit will yield a ~4% extra damage. This will NOT effect DoT damage.
Naturalist increases all damage you do(not 100% if it works on DoTs or not) by 10%(5/5). This might effect DoT damage as well, I'm not 100% sure.
So when comparing the 2, Naturalist gets the upper hand, if I'm not missing something crucial.

You aren't indeed. Naturalist is entirely better than Predatory Instincts in terms of increasing damage. You would need a crit rate of 100% for PI to be as good as Naturalist...

Why people do talent comparisons on stuff they should be picking both up on anyway is funny.
Naturalist is better for +Damage, Pred adds on AoE avoidance (which doesn't sound like much til it saves your behind). Just use both...
Theres very little Feral-related that isn't worth picking up. Feral Aggression is one of them (Demo Roar buff isnt that much, and Lawl at Fero Bite), and Nurturing Instinct is another (how it works now is alittle dumb, it should give a higher str to healing bonus and only apply so many secs after you shapeshift). The 15% to fear/stun talent can be skipped if you need those points elsewhere..its another talent that you really don't miss until it saves you.

That's the thing. Predatory instinct's reward is very low don't you think. Is it worth taking?
For soloing it makes little difference.
For end-game or PvP the AoE avoidance can be really useful.

AOE avoidance? Who uses AOE anyway? In battleground, AOE is useless.

It isn't a PvP talent, it's a raiding talent. In raids, EVERYTHING uses AoE. If you'r elooking for PvP advice, you should've specified.
naturalist beats out PI easily. however, you need PI to get heart of the wild, and heart of the wild destroys naturalist.
but really, when it comes down to it, you should have both. end game, pvp or pve, 10% damage is awesome, and you need PI to get HotW. this is assuming you want to be deep feral of course.

predatory instinct don't increase your damage by 10%. If your crit rate is 10% 5 talent point will only increase your damage by 1%

I really don't understand this one. First you can get heart of the wild without PI. Second why heart of the wild destroy naturalist?
1- This thread was over 1 month old, thus considered as dead, which makes you a Necromancer. So you'll have to be burned, or first we'll see if you weight as much as a duck.
2- Quor must've posted while asleep or something. PI was confused for PS, which is the requirement for HotW. That 10% damage thing was in reference to Naturalist, not PI nor PS.
