recently i hit 32, i have my whirlwind axe and i started out going down arms since 10. I was wondering if i should consider going fury now. and if i do should i get 2 decent 2handers (what are some easily to obtain ones) or should i just 2hand furry. or just keep going arms till XX-level or what?

and if you duel wield it worth it to slam? whats your combo, just spam heroic strike till level 40?

i also noticed if if i charge and switch to berserker stance i have practically no rage. i feel like i do a lot more dmg in battle stance with the starting rage with and the overpowering

the forumcrafting i did never really answered these questions clearly to me

Keep arms until later on. 2 handers are easier to come by in the lower levels and you'll miss more hits with dual wield.

when you solo level, don't switch to zerker stance. 10% more damage != 3% crit.

keep going 2h, maybe [seriously] consider going 2h fury and grabbing imp slam as that will be amazing.

Depends of "melee" or "Caster" mobs...right? Caster mobs I don't leave Berserker stance because of Pummel, and they hit like sissy-marys.

After the fight if I have a boat-load of rage and don't feel like dumping it, I'll stay in B.Stance, just make sure to Demo right away.

I just stay in Battle Stance and switch to Berserker Stance then Pummel when I see them readying a spell. I feel naked not having Thunder Clap available, especially since I often am fighting 3-4 mobs at once and the slow effect is useful.

Then you dump a lot of rage even with TM. If I know what I'm fighting before the charge I make up my mind then Battle Vs Berserker. T. Clap does jack on caster mobs, and by chaning to Berserker stance only when needing Pummel, you're dumping a lot of DPS rage.

Am I just to set in my ways to understand what you're trying to say? Please, let me know what I'm not understanding here. I might be playing not to my fullest potential.

I've actually come to prefer grinding in 'Zerker stance, honestly. Charge in, then switch to 'Zerker, MS/BT, WW and 'zerker rage. Most of the time the extra damage I take is negligible to the extra damage I cause from having another instant attack to use and the extra rage from 'Zerker rage.

To each their own, though. Just my preference.

I started off by going down Arms, then at 31 I switched to 2H Fury (for 2/2 Imp Slam) and it's freakin awesome. I don't even wanna respec back to Arms at 40 for MS cause I love my 2H Fury.

Battle vs. Berserker stance comes more or less down to personal preference (I grind in Berserker), but it is possible to switch stances before you get your first white hit off from Charge (and at our level, Charge gives 12 rage untalented, so you lose 2, big deal). The macro I use is

/cast [nocombat,stance:1] Charge; [combat,nostance:3] Berserker Stance; [nocombat,nostance:1] Battle Stance; [combat,stance:3] Intercept

so you basically just spam it and you Charge --> dance to Berserker immediately. If you're in combat, you can spam it to dance to Berserker then Intercept.

I'm the new one, more likely it's me not playing to my fullest potential :) But my thinking was that with Tactical Mastery 3/3 then I'm not really losing a whole lot of rage. I retain 25 rage between stance switches anyway, and I hardly ever have more than 25 rage anyway, because if I do have more than 25 rage then Mortal Strike is coming in the next 2 seconds or so.

I often find myself getting down to critical HP when fighting large groups of mobs, so if I were taking extra damage I might not survive the battle. I guess the counterargument to this is that with Whirlwind I could kill mobs faster since I could use it when MS is on cooldown. But then again I could just switch to Berserker Stance and use Whirlwind since it's 25 rage, which is how much you retain from switching stances with TM 3/3.
