I'm a lvl 52 balance druid and I currently have Zum'rah's Vexing Cane. I was wondering, having completed the lvl 50 druid quest, should the take the Moonshadow Stave, or keep Zum'rah's and get the resto chest for my healing gear? If the Moonshadow really that much better than Zum'rah's?

It isnt THAT much better then the Vexing staff, but it is an upgrade. In anycase I would get as it is a good example of what the rest of your armor stats should look like.

That healing chest used to be the best pre-raid chest piece you could get if you were Resto. Now with Outland and all I'd say don't get crazy over it.
I suppose if the chest is a better upgrade for your healing set than the staff is in comparison, go ahead and take the chest. Then again, the staff is rather sweet and I remember choosing it when my first Druid was Balance.

That healing chest used to be fantastic! But now in just 6 levels you can head to Outlands and pick up stuff that makes it look like a gray item. Just pick whichever seems to be the biggest upgrade at the moment and start getting serious about your gear sets once you hit the Outlands.
