I learned about the flight path early, but I didn't know about the trainer.

I tried alliance and I am now playing horde, was getting frustrated trying to find flight paths, being used to them in different areas.

I started looking at www.mapwow.com shows flight paths for horde or alliance.

I might have missed something, and im still pretty new to the game at lvl 42 and maybe 2 months played or so, but i still cannot use the normal flightpath from Moonglade.

I've sneaked into felwood and gotten the emerald sanctuary FP then i had to leave due to evul mobs and filthy alliance peoples.

Thing is i still cannot use the normal FP because it says "no flightpath available blabla" does this mean i have to "discover" the map all the way up to the FP master himself?

Thanks for any input

I'm not sure which of the two induhviduals in this story is the true druidiot - you decide...

I was at the Darnassus bank last weekend when I saw a lvl 10 druid asking for help to get his bear form. I though, "hmm, I don't remember that being very hard." Then I inspected him and saw that all his gear was gray - mostly "ragged leather" stuff with a white staff. Ok, so he's a newb, no big deal. So I offered him my assistance. I like to think that I can be helpful when it's needed.

Anyway, I invited him to join my group which he did. Then I proceeded to ask him where he was in the quest chain. At which point I waited... and waited... and stared at him...and waited some more. Then I asked him if he HAD the quest chain. After more waiting, he finally responded that he did not, in fact, have the quest chain in question.

So I have him follow me to the quest giver over in the druid training area. All the while, I'm getting the ill-feeling like maybe I've just made a huge mistake, 'cause the little exchange to find out his progress took about 5 minutes. At this point I've also concluded that he has no idea how to use /party, so I try to help. "Type /p to use the party chat". His next response is still just a general chat. I tried again, but to no avail, so the entire rest of our grouping time, I spent party chatting and having him respond with /say. Not terrible, but still...

Once we get to the point of him having the quest chain, it take another 5 minutes to convince him to cast the moonglade teleport spell he just got. When we get to moonglade, he just stands there staring at me as if to say "what next?" Well, It's been awhile since I actually did the quest so my memory is a bit fuzzy. After watching him stand around doing nothing, I finally ask, "what's next?" He says, "I don't know". So I tell him to check his quest log... and then after waiting for 5 more minutes I ask again, "what's next?"

I've already taken way to long to tell the tail, so I'll skip a bit. In the end It took me at least 30 minutes to get him to the point where he had spoken to the bear spirit the FIRST time. At which point he stared at me for awhile and then said, "I don't know how to do this." That's when I left.

Ugh. Obviously it's one thing to be new. I make huge mistakes all the time because there are a lot of aspects of the game I have little experience with. But It's another thing not to be able to follow basic instructions.

You actually need the Auberdine FP in Darkshore, or the Talonbranch Glade FP in the NE corner of the map (Alliance) or Bloodvenom Post FP in the middle of the map just north of Jadenar (Horde) before you can use the Moonglade FPs.

(EDIT: Added Auberdine FP for Alliance, which most people should have well before they would get the Talonbranch Glade FP anyway).

I personally found out the other FM at level 10. I was so excited about moonglade that... I started to run around shouting "wtf, there HAS TO BE SOMETHING INTERESTING AROUND HERE?!!". It felt so weird to see no 'standard mobs'. Anyway curiosity made me get wtfpwnd by timbermaws.

But hey, I was looking for a trainer the other day. I'm a Tauren and for some reason I thought that going to the isle near feralas was a good idea (found the trainer location at thottbot, forgot to check its allegiance).
Got ***-whooped by the guards right after I got out of the water. That was level 40.
Druidumb, wasn't it.
