I didn't know about the other flight master in Moonbrook. I've been using that one that takes you to Rut'theran this whole time.

"other flight master"? Which one would that be? I've only ever found the one that sends you to Rut' or Mulgore depending on what you are. Please enlighten.

Note, my druid is only lvl 23.

Nice use of the "druidiot" term, btw! :)

Oh yay, I'm not the only one. At level 23 though, you don't qualify as a druidiot for it. Please fail to train something really important and apply again.

If you take the road along the lake, there's flight masters on the right for Horde and Alliance, roughly on either side of the road that goes to the Timbermaw Hold.

I can top that.

I didnt know Moonbrook had flightmasters at all. o.O I knew there was a vendor hidden away upstairs in the inn, but flight masters? Haven't even seen one. Guess I should explore some more.

Yeah I know... I just couldn't resist.

Man, what is it with these sages these days? I don't have it either. Who coined that damn "druidiot" term anyway. Oh yeah...me. How ironic. : /

I actually heard about the 2nd Moonglade FP in my early 60s, but only made a halfass 5-minute effort to find it because I wasn't even thinking it might provide direct flights to anywhere on the continent. So I hearthed back to Shat before finding it and never looked back. D'OH!!! At least I have a mission for my next WoW session. Too bad we're not on the same server, cake, we could have a little party there. Druidiots Unite!

Well, Jee, I'll plant a tree for you while I'm there. :)

I use Teleport:Moonbrook all the time - depending where on that continent I'm going it can be way faster than flying from Stormwind to Booty Bay or the Wetlands and taking a boat. (Plus I'll take one long flight over 2 short ones and a boat anyway - lets me go make a cup of tea.) Especially useful now that I'm in Felwood/Winterspring a lot. Was good for fishing skill-ups too for a while.

Moonbrook?

???

I'm feeling like the druidiot right now because I don't know what you guys are talking about.

Moonglade? I knew there was a regular flight path there because my first character was a warrior and I got it doing some quests in the Timbermaw stronghold place.

Well obviously I meant Moonglade, dur. I mean, come on, I'm a druidiot. Try to keep up.

;)

(I say Darkshore when I mean Darkshire and vice versa all the time, too.)

glad to see druidiot is still getting some play

I get places mixed up too. I was just being a Druidiot myself. It's fun.

The 2nd flight master wasn't originally there. Can't blame you. Not sure when they added it but it certainly wasn't there when I played wow long ago.

LOL!

Not only do 1/2 of us druids apparantly not know there was a second FP in Moonglade, but the first 5 posts all refer to it as Moonbrook!

I'm a lvl 70 druid, been to Moonglade like 6 times... never knew of the other FP haha.

We are all Druidiots.

The best use for Moonglade now is to respec. If we are short of healers, I can teleport to Moonglade, respec & get summoned back to Karazhan nice and quick :)

I used it to get spells while leveling, although I used the teleport and then flew to Darnassus, not knowing about the trainer in Moonglade ! xD

Found out at, uhm, lvl 70...? xD

I use it to get my new skills. Teleport to Moonglade then hearth back to Shat.

I discovered the other flight master(s) when I was level 50 or so.. but only because I had read about them somewhere else.. I would never have thought to search on my own...

A lot of new Druids here, huh? Back in the old days some of the Azeroth quests would take you to Moonglade and you automatically went to get the flight path so you wouldn't have to run out through Timbermaw Hold again.

Hell, most players who've been to the Lunar Festival knows there's a flight path there. It's right next to the festival teleport point. Smiley: wink

I actually just found it last night, after 56 levels, while wandering around...I also went into an area and got attacked by some sprout that was whacking me for 360 damage o_o

Druidiot? I'd like to put their name to the test!

Made my druid, did all the quests (even dicovered the FP in moonglade by mid-30s!) But this was my 3rd? 4th? alt.. maybe 7th?

Anyway, I was really mad that my heals kept being interrupted in a fight at like level 13 or something. So naturally I started pouring points into Resto, eagerly anticipating fast-casting non-interrupted heals to keep my *** alive thru those fights! Man, let me tell you those fights took forever! Melee with the ol' 2H mace and heal heal heal heal heal heal heal heal.. heal.

heal.

heal.

.. all the way to level 52. I had Tree Form. I had finally reached the pinnacle of restoration. I rushed out to join groups and prove my powers as mighty as the great redwoods! But.. my heals still sucked since I had averaged my gear around surviving a fight as Resto.. and not sustaining heals over extended time.

Right about then.. I knew! Something was wrong. I frothed at the mouth as I obsessed on this problem.. why do I suck!? Wasn't the reason that people complained about resto Druids being hard to kill in PvP based on the fact that they would eventually win?! Hm.. nope. Just meant they die, it only takes longer.

******************************************************************************

Now I proudly carry around 3 sets of gear filling more than 3 bags as Feral Spec. This is an alt, but for grab'n'go gear 1800 AP in kitty form, 22k Armor and 12k Hp w/ 400 def in bear form, and +800 healing for the resto backup isn't a bad start!

I still think I'm a Druidiot, if only because 52 levels of stupidity tends to leave a mark! In the shape of an L. On my forehead.

My hunter has already made use of that flight path multiple times, as it is closer to the areas of Felwood and Winterspring closest to Timbermaw Hold than the normal flight paths, at least on Horde-side.

Well, I can add to my newbish-ness at least. It took me at least into my mid-teens to discover the main FP in MoonGLADE :) The first time I used the teleport spell I thought "where the heck does this take me and how will I get back?" So I made sure to set my hearth to Darnassus before I left. I pretty much did that for the first 15 or so levels before I found the FP in "downtown" Moonglade.

Now I'll have to explore some more to find the other one.

#21 Nov 07 2007 at 1:57 PM Rating: Decent
I only found out about the other FP in Moonglade on my druid after I was running around killing rabbits and deer for some easy leather.

Stuff I wish I'd learned sooner than level 70:

The Druid Trainer in Moonglade, a dude named "Loganaar," is at 52,40.

The Alliance FP is directly south of Nighthaven, on the other side of the lake, at 48,67.

The Horde FP is in the southwest corner of the zone, right by the cave entrance, to the right side of the road.

Hmm, 70 on my lock, then 70 on my druid, 52 on my mage: "Holy Crap! They added a normal fp to Moonglade!" <-- me. Friend--> "0.o its been here forever."

So at least I dont feel so ashamed now.

I thought I was being smart by hearthing to Moongalde, training and then hearthing to Shat to get where I needed. Now you're telling me that I can fly to someplace other than Taurenville? I don't feel too Druidiotish, I've only gone 50 levels without figuring this out, sheesh.
