There are no classes that suck. Only players. Are you a good hunter? If yes, then get in there and kick ***** If not, then get in there and learn to play well and then kick *****

Rerolling because of one person's comments would be stupid. If you're not going to reroll and you want to go into the arena... Then it stands to reason that you go in as your hunter.

You might find limitations on some circumstances during the game. Just find a way around them.

I'm with Doom on this one. I play in arena with a BM hunter and I'm a DM lock. We aren't the best, but we are learning how to play together in an arena setting. World PvP we kick butt. Soon we are gonna kick butt in arena.

So just keep playing. Try different things. If they keep killing you, hunt them down afterwards and do them in...LOL (provided they are from your server that is)

I think you can do practice sessions while you are still leveling up.

Learn as you go, and tell your friend to stfu.
If he doesn't want to be part of the Team, replace him.

Hunters dont suck in arena, but we definately arent good or great.
However, that doesnt really matter much until you get to the very high levels of play (2100+ and such)

Have you played much pvp before? Try to do some WSG/AB/Eye before you go and read up on hunter techniques in the forums so you can show your "friend" up. Remember that traps are the best thing ever, your pet is better, and then dont forget the traps!

I agree with what was said above, you don't get bad classes, only bad players.
It's just you need to learn how to PVP your class, everyone has to do it. It's just a learning curve that some people go through before others.

If someone is exceptionally good at playing a Hunter, then there's nothing to say they wont be good at it in the arena.

Hunters do face some challenges in the Arena, but it's not a hopeless thing at all. In most of the Arena fights I've been in the other side simply charged, perhaps a caster or a Hunter will stop further back, but it's still pretty much a charge to combat range. Perhaps if I was higher ranked I'd start to see better opposing tactics, but I have only once had a LOS issue out of (guessing here) about 50 Arena fights.

Your challenge may be to simply get yourself on a team which meats and fights weekly. I know that has been my challenge. I'm on a 3 person 2v2 team, and sometimes several weeks will go by between battles...

Just don't despair because of the lack of Hunters on the top rated teams, or because of the perceptions of people who are probably themselves not on top rated teams. If they aren't, they've got no call to be putting you down as a Hunter. We're fairly strong in 2v2.

I've never done arenas before, so it could just be my ignorance, but "3 person 2v2 team" just made me go "Huh?". Sorry, had to share.

I'll shut up now.

You can have up to twice the teams amount in players for "standby" but only 2 in a 2v2 may play at any given time.

For instance, a 2v2 can have 4 people on it, but only 2 can enter arena at aany given time, unless they break off into 2 diff groups and go that way, but in any 1 arena, only 2 of them will be in (wouldn't it be funny if the team fought their other teamates?)

lol, it's good that you know your place, Snardo =P

You wouldn't say that there are five men on a basketball team, would you? He's just saying that there are three people on his team, with two fighting at any given time.

Edit: shoot you beat me to it
